Text Box: Smoke Detectors
The fire department would like to make available to you and your family the peace of mind that comes with a working smoke detector.
The National Fire Protection Association recommends smoke detectors in every sleeping area and on every level of your home. Smoke detectors should be tested every week. New batteries should be installed at least once a year. Should you need assistance in obtaining, installing, or properly maintaining your smoke detectors, please call the fire department at
(903)695-2900.

Text Box: Home addressing
If you ever need help, time can mean the difference between life or death. Signs and home markers help us locate you faster, especially at night because they reflect the numbers so we can see them. We ask you to help us to help you faster. Signs and addresses can hang on your mailbox or near your front door vertically or horizontal. If you have a post office box, you can place a sign beside driveway or sidewalk. Please make sure to use your physical home address because a PO box address would not help in locating your home. We can assist in installing home numbers or address signs for you if you are unable. Contact the fire department at (903)695-2900.
Text Box: Special arrangements & pre-emergency plans
